This Legal Notice sets out the information identifying the operator of the website https://firetexglobal.ae (the “Site”) and the terms on which the Site is made available.

1. Identity of the Operator

BEST FIRETECH SOFTWARE CONSULTANCY – FZCO is referred to below as “FireTex”, “we”, “our” or “us”.

2. Purpose of the Site

The Site presents the FireTex software platform for fire protection and life-safety contractors, together with related information, pricing and contact forms. The Site is informational: it is not an offer capable of acceptance, and no contract for the supply of software or services is formed through it. Contractual terms are agreed separately in writing.

3. Access and Use

Access to the public areas of the Site is free and does not require registration. Some functions, such as requesting a demonstration, require you to submit contact details through a form.

You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to:

• interfere with its operation, security or availability, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it or to related systems;
• introduce malicious code or carry out security testing without our prior written authorisation;
• extract content systematically, whether manually or by automated means, beyond normal consultation;
• use the Site or its content in a way that infringes the rights of FireTex or of third parties.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, page structure, layout, source code, interface design, images, product mockups, icons and audiovisual material — is owned by FireTex or used under licence, and is protected by intellectual property law.

The FireTex name, logo and other distinctive signs are the property of FireTex. Third-party names, trade marks and logos appearing on the Site, including those of standards bodies and integration partners, belong to their respective owners and are shown for identification purposes only; their appearance does not imply endorsement, affiliation or certification unless expressly stated.

No licence or right over any of the foregoing is granted by the mere fact of accessing the Site. Reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or any other form of exploitation requires our prior written authorisation, except where permitted by applicable law.

5. Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including our social media profiles. Those sites are outside our control and we are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Following such a link is at your own initiative; you should review the legal and privacy terms of any site you visit.

Establishing a link to the Site from a third-party website does not imply any relationship with FireTex and does not authorise the use of our distinctive signs beyond what is strictly necessary to identify the destination of the link.

6. Availability and Liability

We take reasonable care to keep the Site available, accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant uninterrupted availability or the complete absence of errors. Content may be modified, suspended or withdrawn at any time without prior notice.

Information on the Site is general in nature. It does not constitute technical, regulatory or legal advice and does not replace the professional judgement that applies to the design, installation, inspection or maintenance of fire protection systems. References to standards and regulations, including NFPA and Civil Defence requirements, are indicative; responsibility for verifying and applying the rules in force in each jurisdiction remains with the user.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit and loss of business opportunity arising from use of the Site. Nothing in this Notice excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

7. Personal Data and Cookies

The processing of personal data collected through the Site is described in our Privacy Policy, which identifies the controller, the purposes and legal bases of processing, the recipients of data, international transfers, retention periods and how to exercise your rights, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8. Governing Law

This Legal Notice is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable to the Emirate of Dubai and to the IFZA free zone, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer or data protection rules of your country of residence that apply to you and that cannot be set aside by agreement.

Nothing in this section affects the governing law and jurisdiction agreed in any separate contract for the supply of software or services.

9. Changes and Contact

We may update this Legal Notice to reflect changes in our corporate details, in the Site or in applicable law. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its “Last updated” date.
